About Alex Burgos
Meet Alex Burgos
Alexandre Burgos was born and raised in Buffalo, New York in a blue-collar union home. From a young age, Alex understood the value of a hard day's work and the importance of serving your community. Burgos is the son of U.S. Army Veteran and Niagara Street business owner, Efrain Burgos, and retired Buffalo Public School teacher, Elizabeth Gonzalez.

Alex has spent his career delivering for Western New Yorkers, from delivering funding to our community, fighting for affordable healthcare & health equity, expanding educational and community programs, to shaping policy at the state level, and fighting for working families. Alex Burgos has risen as one of the region’s most effective public advocates, trusted by leaders across government, labor, and community organizations.

He has led legislative initiatives, built winning grassroots coalitions, and helped elect the next generation of local leadership.
